1. How many times do I have to come to Hungary for the dental treatment?
In most of the cases you will come only once for the dentures or bridges and twice in case of implantation. Each time you will stay about 5 working days. In case you need the bone lifting you will have to come 3 times within 12 - 14 months.
However it is very important to send your X-Ray panoramic film to us by email before.
2. I am looking for affordable dentistry but not the very cheapest - how much can I save?
It depends on the country but we estimate you can save between 40 – 60%.
3. Can I have the payment refunded by my insurance company?
It depends on the insurance but we issue all the necessary documents for you to recuperate part of the treatment – in some cases it can be up to 50%. As Hungary is member of the European Community the treatment is recognized by the insurance companies.
4. How do I get around if I do not speak Hungarian?
You will be picked up in the airport and taken to the hotel or private apartments. The agency representative will meet you there and give the stay program as well as accompany you to the dental clinic and interpret the conversation with the dentist. All further conversations with the dentist will be interpreted as to your wish as the dentists speak Basic English.
5. What are the guarantees and warranties for the treatment?
It is in our interest to organize treatment in such a way that there would be no court cases. The dentists give the following written guarantees: bridges (4 years), inlays (3years), full dentures (2 years), partial dentures (3 years), implants (5 -10 years), and fillings (2 years).
6. What can be done within my stay?
In case of the absence of the complications the dentist can put up to 12 crowns. In case of the teeth removal you need the recovery period of 1 month. Thus it is very important to send us the panoramic X-Ray. Should the teeth be extracted in Hungary you will get the temporary crowns and bridges and you can wear them up to 12 months.
7. I would like to have the dental implants, are there health restrictions?

8. Is there any alternative to implantation? I have contraindications to it and at the same time I am not happy with the full denture.

9. I am looking for the affordable porcelain veneers – can they be done in Hungary?
By all means – please consult our heading veneers and the price lists. You can save about 50 % if you have them done in Hungary.
10. I have a chronic disease - can I come to Hungary?
It is very important for us that you fill in the contact form in the most detailed manner and that you tell us of the diseases as the corresponding treatment will be proposed.
11. What materials are used by the Hungarian dentists?
Absolutely the same materials as in all Western European countries – dental materials are imported mainly from Germany (metal) and Japan (porcelain).
12. How do I pay?
You can pay by cash in Euros or in HUF – Hungarian forint. In the city there is an abundant quantity of the bank withdrawal machines – in both currencies. Credit cards are also accepted. See our heading Prices.
13. Do I have to make an advance payment for the dental treatment?
Yes, in the dental clinic. For our and your security we ask the clients to make an advance payment of 50% after the treatment plan has been discussed and the contract with the clinic signed. You pay the rest of 50% by the end of the treatment during your final visit to the dentist.
14. What else do I have to pay?
We can organize the hotel, transfer to the hotel and the taxi to the clinic. If you would like to have a personal guide with you during all you stay in Hungary please indicate so in the filling form.
