We have searched for the hotels and apartments within walking distance from the clinic or within 15- 20 min of reach by the public transport. Note that public transport functions very well in Budapest.

Category 4 ****
Book up room from 67 Euros to 180 Euros in one of the most charming hotels in the “old style” Gellert hotel:

What we liked:
You can have a wide choice of prices and book up a modest room with shower for 67 Euros which is a good bargain for a 4-star hotel up to the luxurious suite for 180 Euros with an overview across the Danube river.
Copious Swedish breakfasts, unforgettable interiors in the Austro-Hungarian style, the feeling of luxury and the free access to the famous mineral baths which is free of charge any time of the day. Thus you combine your dental treatment with a spa holiday and get the full benefit from your stay in the city!
There is a nice cosmetic salon on the ground-floor and brunches at the week-end are highly favored by the foreign guests and by the local ex pats community. Additionally you can take long walks around the park on the Gellert mountain, visit the museums on the hill and admire the breath-taking view over the city.

Hotel Central Basilica***

What we liked:
A small, recently renovated hotel of great charm right across the famous St. Stefan Basilica. Rooms are designer-decorated. The breakfasts are in the German style. It is located only 3 minutes of walk from the central pedestrian zone – the Vaci street. You will have to look at in the evenings and should you remain for the week-end. We highly recommend it to those who love shopping, lounging around in the cafes and looking at the people passing by.

What we liked:
This hotel is located a little bit further from the centre, but some of us spent a week there with great pleasure. We recommend it as having very good relation between the price and the quality. The breakfasts are Continental and there is a good fitness center, included in the room price. The rooms are very quiet and the beds are comfortable. It will take you 20 – 30 minutes to get to the clinic by public transport. There is Wi-fi and a good business –center - you will combine your stay with work with no problem.

What we liked:
It is located only 3 tramway stops from the clinic. Should you want to escape from the madding crowds in the city it is a perfect choice – immaculately clean, quiet, affordable. Austrian style management, very good flowered terraces, Lavazza coffee-machine, the personnel is extremely polite and westernized. When you would have time after the treatment take a walk in the area – you will discover charming little cafes, closed market areas with pretty flower stands – just linger there with a cup of coffee! And do try the famous Hungarian pastry – we did!

B&B "Gardonyi" **

What we liked:
We absolutely loved its charm and family style. The rooms are all individually decorated with great care and love. You might find it fun “living” with the Hungarian family. You can cook your own food if you are tired of restaurants and cafes in the city and would like to cook your own Gulash! All rooms have an En-suite bathroom.

What we liked:
Of course we liked the price most of all! Where else can you have a decent room in the very heart of the city for 19 (!!!) Euros for two (!!!) people! The shower is very clean and the windows are very well insulated. There is air-condition (valuable in summer) But we would recommend the hotel only to those who will spend most of their time outside and who needs just a simple, clean, and a safe place to sleep. The rest is not included - but we had breakfast around the corner at McDonald’s.
The disadvantage is that you book up the room before hand and the amount is immediately debited from your credit card, changes are not so easy to achieve.
